Arrest Made in Case of Female Students Photographed While Showering in residency at U of T

The Toronto Police Service has announced an arrest in connection with a voyeurism investigation following reports received on March 12, 2024, in the Spadina Avenue and Willcocks Street area.


According to the police, the incident involved a female student at the University of Toronto Wilson Hall Residence. Allegedly, while the victim was showering, she observed a shadow over the shower curtain. Shortly after, the victim noticed a cell phone appearing over the curtain, recording her.


Nineteen-year-old international student Shunnosuke Koshikawa has been arrested and charged with voyeurism and mischief. Koshikawa is scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Court on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Police suspect there may be additional victims and have released an image to aid in their investigation.
